Annual General Meeting

Host Firm: Herrera Teehankee & Cabrera Law Offices

18–21 March 2010, Manila, Philippines

06 August 2009

Dear ADVOC Members,

The law firm of Herrera Teehankee and Cabrera is honored to host the 14th ADVOC Asia Annual General Meeting in Manila, Philippines from 18 March 2010 to 21 March 2010.

We cordially invite you and your guests to join us in this event, and experience the traditional Filipino hospitality that makes the Philippines legendary in Asia.

The Philippines is made up of 7,107 islands. The capital of the country is Manila. It is the third largest English speaking country in the world. It has a rich history of Asian, European, and American influences. From a long history of Western colonial rule, interspersed with Chinese and Japanese trade relations evolved a people of a unique blend in appearance and culture.

For the hotel accommodations during this event, we have partnered with The Peninsula Manila. The Peninsula Manila is a five star hotel located in the heart of Makati, Manila's business and financial district.

The registration fee for the event is as follows:
(a) US$515.00 per delegate inclusive of Philippine bank charges for international transfers and all activities from Thursday, 18 March 2010, up to Sunday, 21 March 2010, except for green fees for those who would be playing golf; and
(b) US$465.00 per guest inclusive of Philippine bank charges for international transfers and all activities from Thursday, 18 March 2010, up to Sunday, 21 March 2010, except for green fees for those who would be playing golf.

The costs of the hotel accommodations and airport transfers are for the respective accounts of the delegates.

For additional tours in the Philippines, we suggest a visit to the islands of Boracay or Palawan.

The island of Boracay is known for its white, talcum-fine beach, balmy weather, and warm, crystalline waters. The best part of the island is the four-kilometer White Beach hailed as the "finest beach in the world."

The island of Palawan has been declared as a nature sanctuary of the world. The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River in Palawan has successfully landed on the final list of the ongoing search for the New 7 Wonders of Nature.

We are prepared to assist in your travel arrangements for additional tours in the Philippines.

It is our sincere hope that you and your guests can join us in this event.

Very truly yours,
HERRERA TEEHANKEE AND CABRERA LAW OFFICES
